You can purchase your eSIM anytime and keep it safely in your email until you’re ready to use it.

Some eSIMs expire 90 days or 12 months after purchase, so it’s best to buy these closer to your travel date to ensure they remain valid for your trip.

Always check the expiry information on the product page before adding a plan to your cart.

You can use both a physical SIM and an eSIM at the same time on your device — for example, keep your regular SIM for calls and texts, and use your eSIM for data while you travel.

Just keep in mind that receiving calls while you’re abroad can sometimes come with extra charges (it’s best to check with your carrier), whereas receiving text messages is usually free.

Not using it right away? No problem. You can keep the eSIM safely in your email until you’re ready to install it, or install it in advance and leave it turned off until you need it.

Before you head off on your trip, make sure you install your eSIM while you’re still connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Don’t worry — it won’t activate straight away. Your plan will only start once you arrive and connect to a supported local network at your destination.

When you land, simply check that your eSIM is switched ON in your device settings, and you’ll be ready to go.

  1. Check your device
Make sure your phone is eSIM-compatible and carrier unlocked.

  2. Install your eSIM
Scan the QR code in your eSIM email, or install it manually:

    • iPhone: Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Add eSIM

    • Android: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add Mobile Plan

Follow the on-screen steps and enter the details exactly as provided.

  3. Activate when you arrive
Once you reach your destination, set the eSIM as your primary data line, turn off automatic switching, enable Data Roaming, and restart your device.

Full step-by-step instructions are included with your purchase — so you’ll have everything you need.

While you can save several eSIMs on your phone, only one can be active for mobile data at a time. Switching between them is quick and easy in your device settings.

The exact number depends on your phone model, so it’s worth checking your device specifications online to see how many profiles it supports.

Many phones also allow you to keep your regular SIM active for calls and texts while using your eSIM for data. That means you can still receive calls and messages on your usual number while abroad (just keep potential roaming charges in mind), and use your eSIM for data without paying roaming fees.

To check if your device supports eSIM, you can use the compatibility checker on our product page or quickly search your device model online.

Most phones today are unlocked, but if you’re unsure, you can test it by inserting a different SIM or trying another eSIM.

If you purchased your device on a contract or payment plan, it may be locked to a specific carrier. In that case, it’s best to contact your carrier’s customer support to confirm its status or request an unlock.

Once your device is unlocked and eSIM-compatible, you’re all set to use our eSIMs.

Your eSIM plan begins at the moment it’s activated.

Activation happens when your eSIM connects to a supported local network at your destination and the network recognises it.

If you purchased your device on a contract or payment plan, it may be locked to a specific carrier. In that case, it’s best to contact your carrier’s customer support to confirm its status or request an unlock.

From the moment you first connect abroad, your plan’s validity period (the number of days you purchased) will start counting down.

Fair Usage Policies are in place to make sure unlimited plans are used responsibly and don’t negatively affect the network for other users.

With unlimited eSIMs, if you use a very high amount of data in a single day, your speeds may be reduced until the next day. The limit resets daily, so if you’re affected, your full speeds will automatically return the following morning.

If you’re using a fixed data plan (for example, 20GB valid for 30 days), there are no daily speed restrictions — you can use your allowance however you like until the data runs out.

Most of our plans support hotspotting, so you can share your data with other devices when you need to.

To double-check, simply head to the product page and look under the “eSIM Info” tab — you’ll find all the key details about what’s included in your plan there.

You can check how much data you’ve used directly on your device:

Apple: Settings > Mobile > Scroll down to Current Period Roaming to see your usage.

Android: Settings > Connections > Data Usage > Billing Cycle and Data Warning > Select the period from the day you started using your SIM to today. Save, and your data usage will be displayed.

You can also log in to your account on our webiste with teh meail on your oder to view your data usage for any active eSIM.

We don’t offer top-ups at the moment. We’re working on adding this feature to our eSIMs, but it will take some time to roll out.

In the meantime, you can always return to our website from anywhere and purchase a new eSIM plan — you’ll be ready to go within minutes.

Your eSIM connects directly to local networks at your destination, giving you fast and reliable data.

Our eSIMs can access multiple local networks, allowing your device to switch automatically or manually to the best available signal.

You can expect 4G and 5G speeds — connectivity is typically fastest in cities and towns, while service may be slower in more remote areas.

For detailed network information, check the “Coverage” tab on the product page or reach out to our team for a list of networks your eSIM can access.

Our travel eSIMs are primarily designed for data — most plans don’t include standard calls or texts.

For most travelers, data is all you need to stay in touch using messaging and calling apps.

If you do need traditional calls and texts, check out our “Calls and Text” FAQs for options and alternatives while you’re abroad.

Yes — you can keep your home number active for calls and texts while abroad by using your regular SIM alongside our eSIM for data.

Keep in mind that outgoing calls and texts may incur roaming charges, though incoming texts are generally free.

No action is needed to keep your WhatsApp number active. Your number, contacts, and conversations will be preserved automatically.
